1st Piano Recital

Her 1st piano recital. She’s been taking lessons since November and was quite nervous but I thought she did a FANTASTIC job! WTG D!!

I fell in love with this little girl, she was such a little joker…..a girl after my own heart!! I had one mom at the portrait party who dressed her kids up like pioneers, it was perfect with the farm scene!

I have powers!

So today was a lazy day, I was laying in bed reading a book when Dh and my youngest joined me for a few minutes of snuggle time. I couldn’t help but giggle as I listened in on the following conversation…
“L” - I have special powers!, “Daddy” - You do, what kind?, “L”- I can push the grass down with my hands or I can raise it up, “Daddy” - Wow, you can? So in the summer time when I need to mow the grass I can just ask you to push it down for me instead? “L”- yes, but you’ll probably forget to ask me. “Daddy” - No I won’t…..do you have any other powers? “L” - Yes, I can make rainbows to. I can make lightning turn into a rainbow over the whole sky. “Daddy” - WOW!! “L” - And I can make your house turn upside down. “Daddy” - No don’t do that, I don’t want my house upside down. “L” - <giggle> cause then you would fall down to the ceiling.
I was quite amused by this conversation and of all the special powers to choose from out there I just really got quite a giggle out of these!!! Kids….gotta love ‘em!
