Family

My husband’s sister came to Utah to visit all the way from Ohio.  We have only seen them a handful of times over the last 8 years and we hadn’t yet met their youngest who turned 3 while they were here.  It was soooo good to see them all and of course we had to do some family pics!  I happen to think they are all adorable! :)  Most of the time my little 3 year old nephew wanted nothing to do with the camera but I did get this one, yeah!

Jake & Laura 5.14.09

Jake is like a little brother to me so I feel okay about telling him that he go SO LUCKY.  He is lucky to find such an angel in Laura.  She is such a sweet sweet girl with a cute southern drawl.  After only hanging out for a few minutes I could tell that she was my kind of girl…..very easy going and just fun to be around!  Congrats you guys.  I’ll have the rest to you as soon as I can!  Hope Maui was awesome!

{Krissy and Daniel 3-6-09}

I was lucky enough to get to photograph this gorgeous couple again.  This time for the big wedding day!  I traveled down south with my good friend Michelle to the land of red rock and desert.  I was hoping for warm but it was chilly down there and we even got some snow.  The Father of the bride owns a theater down there.  I have to say I was expecting the type of theater that plays or musicals are performed in but boy was I wrong.  It is a MOVIE theater and a dang cool one at that.  It’s got such a homey mom and pop feel to it.  The popcorn prices, my goodness, were so cheap.  Yup definitely not in the big city there.  I hope one day I can head back and experience a movie there because I bet it is pretty darn cool!  I hope you guys are enjoying married life so far! ;)  Here’s a quick and very random sneak peek.  More to come….

eSession

So this gorgeous couple here below came to see me for some engagement pictures.  I knew they were from out of state but I thought they had some sort of ties to Logan.  Well it turns out they don’t, they drove 6 hours from Nevada just to have me take their pictures.  I was seriously so honored and I hope hope hope that you guys love your pictures and it was worth the long drive.  Thanks for coming and hanging out with me.  You are both so sweet and I know you will have a wonderful life together!  Enjoy your sneak peek and let me know whatcha think?  Oh and it’s a big sneak peek, we took a TON of pics! hehe!

Yup had to use my favorite wall again…..just a little history here, my neighbor hand painted this brick by brick, it took him a month!

I’m so getting me a pair of black chucks, LOVE them!

Isn’t she beautiful?  She does hair for a living and he’s a high school teacher! I thought that was pretty neat!

{newlywed}

Yesterday I got to meet up with one of my photographer friends that is from Texas.  She was in Utah for her youngest sister’s wedding and I was invited along to help capture the day.  I’ve only proofed a handful of them so far so you might see more soon!

{connection}

This is my daughter’s art teacher at her school and his new wife! I was lucky enough to get about 5-10 minutes with them at a wedding shower the school staff was throwing for them. I could have taken hours with them, they are so gorgeous, fun, and genuine. A cool thing is that his new wife is moving from the same town in Florida that we used to live in……..it’s always a small world for sure!
