Not so long ago I photographed this sweet little girl’s brother as a newborn. Mom was my daughters Kindergarten teacher and we just LOVED her. They are getting ready to leave Logan this month and we will be so sad to see them go. Best of luck you guys and thanks for the fun memories!

We had to keep rescheduling this session due to weather and finally we just said oh well let’s try it snow and all. We found a barn that sheltered us somewhat and that seemed to work. It was still COLD & BRIGHT but we got the job done! :) This is a fun family that I’ve gotten to know through school & sports. The mom is the Director of Instruction at the school my kids go to. She also happens to be a rock star basketball player that I mostly get to play against…..sometimes with and that is always a good day! They are a great and FUN family……thanks for hanging with me guys!

The snow came a day earlier than we expected and rather than reschedule we just went for it. This cute family’s little girl plays competetive league soccer with my little girl…..we’ve had some fun times together and we heart them!
The snow didn’t cooperate for the next few but still some fun shots with the toys! 
Their cousins came over for a few shots too, another adorable family….

Another fun family. It turns out I went to high school with the dad’s sister. Our kids even go to the same school and one is in the same grade. Mom is a family practice doctor here in town too. I told her I bow down to her for going through med school and having kids in the process. (We just went through this process with my brother in law, he is family practice too). I thought it was awesome and then her husband has to add in that somewhere along the way she managed to get a PHD as well. Yup my jaw hit the ground. I wish I was so motivated! That’s awesome!
Oh the other thing I forgot to mention is that mom is from Russia. Her accent was so cute! The kids know Russian……so amazing!
Mom & Dad met while competing in Ball Room Dance in DC.

I can’t believe it is already Autumn, but the signs are everywhere! Such a beautiful and pleasant time of year around here! If you want pictures with the changing colors you better call fast, sessions are limited right now!
I had the pleasure of photographing a previous client over the weekend. Last year my daughter had the best Kindergarten teacher ever and this is her family. I did a maternity and newborn session a year ago. Now baby boy is turning 1 and this time I got to meet the extended family as well. It was a fun time, the canyon was beautiful! So this is my dear friend. We grew up together, met when we were only 3 years old. We have many memories together (good and bad, haha). I’ve always been so grateful for friends that last a lifetime. Even if you go for some amount of time without seeing each other you can pick up right where you left off. My friend recently lost her husband and became a widow at such a young age. She has had a rough road these last 5 months and I just want her to know how much I admire her. She is stronger than she knows and in the time when she has needed comfort she has given it. She is amazing to me. She is a wonderful mama and these four darling babies of her’s are as special to me as my own kids. I’ve held each of them as babies and gushed them. Her last I even got to be in the birthing room, an experience I still relish. So here you go my dear friend, you are beautiful inside and out!

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing a good friend and her family. She is a girl after my own heart and has a love for sports. The past year we’ve been able to play quite a few together, it’s been a blast.
So she is gorgeous and so is her whole family, I mean look at this kiddo’s, just plain adorable! Thanks you guys it was lots of FUN, especially the jumping!

The last couple of weeks I have been playing a lot. My brother came into town with his kids and we just had a blast. We attempted some family pictures with the self-timer, here is what we got!
